Halloween Horror Nights XXI - Part Two

Following our first night at Halloween Horror Nights, Paul and I woke up early the next morning and headed to Universal's Islands of Adventure, the Studios' next door neighbor.

View of the park from our hotel.

The park's welcoming beacon.

We headed straight to the park's "Wizarding World of Harry Potter", home of several extremely impressive attractions.

Dragon Challenge, a B&M masterpiece, is one of such rides. The coasters were more thrilling, however, before they stopped dueling "forever".

We also spent some time in Marvel Superhero Island, hitting up rides like The Amazing Spider-Man, Storm Force Accelatron, and the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster.

The Hulk, another B&M masterpiece, is easily one of the most photogenic rides on the planet.

After a brief rainstorm, we crossed over to Universal Studios Florida, snapping our picture with The Simpsons family (minus Maggie).

We also visited SpongeBob SquarePants, a character that has been absent from Kings Island since 2009.

Nearby SpongeBob was the former Hard Rock Cafe, under demolition during our time there.

Beyond characters, we also checked out Revenge of the Mummy - a thrilling indoor roller coaster with multiple special effects.

As Halloween Horror Nights was scheduled that night, several scare-zones were set-up on the midways. Here's a piece of 7, representing the seven deadly sins.

Canyon of Dark Souls, another scare-zone.

Grown Evil, my favorite scare-zone of the six.

The largest scare-zone was probably Acid Assault, featuring multiple vehicles such as this large school bus.

Another set piece for Acid Assault.

Behind-the-scenes tour of three haunted houses coming up sometime soon.
