Halloween Horror Nights XXI - Part Six

It's been a month since the last update from this year-old trip, but procrastination is my driving me to go ahead and type up another post about it.

Following the backstage tour of the three haunted houses, Halloween Horror Nights XXI was only a couple hours from starting. We decided to fill the time between now and then with Terminator 2: 3D, walking around the park's lagoon, and riding Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rock-It... or trying to ride it, at least.

Grainy picture, but Terminator 2: 3D still manages to pull a crowd despite now being somewhat obsolete.

The park's signature lagoon. Notice the small barge on the left - it's used for a fireball effect during the night.

A daytime glimpse at one of the scare zones, "Your Luck Has Run Out"

Starbucks Coffee, now found in seemingly every major park chain with its recent addition to Disney California Adventure.

After dinner, we proceeded to wait for Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rock-It. The line on the far left is stand-by, the middle is single rider, and the far right is the never-used Express Pass queue.

A mere few trains before getting on, however, the ride closed due to inclement weather. We waited a good 30 or so minutes until it finally reopened.

Following our ride, Paul and I began a game that lasted the duration of the night - trying to take pictures with as many as the "sexy nurses" as possible. There are far too many to post, but I'd say we both completed the game.

The entrance to The In-Between, one of the simplest yet most fun haunted houses.

The line for H.R. Bloodengutz: Holidays of Horror. I liked how they projected video onto the nearby building.

With the help of Express Pass, we did all the haunted houses with time left. We spent the remainder of our night walking around, taking photos.

I enjoy lights on Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rock-It's trains - they make for some interesting long exposure shots.

A shot of a billboard featuring Lady Luck, the frightening mascot of the event.

Part Seven soon enough, potentially the next time I resort to procrastination to avoid physics. Comments welcome and appreciated.
